Depending on how you use Plinthation, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account & Identity Data: Your name, email address, display name, public UID, and authentication identifiers (Google OAuth ID).
• Health & Fitness Metrics: Workout logs, step counts, distance, calories, workout routes, heart rate sensor metrics, sleep hours, energy check-ins, and meditation durations.
• Location Data: Fine and coarse location data, as well as background location data (when explicitly enabled for live workout & streak tracking while the app is closed).
• Media & Device Sensors: Camera access (for OCR text recognition), microphone/audio (for voice journal notes), pedometer/motion sensors, and photo attachments.
• App Usage & Diagnostics: Analytics logs, device model, operating system version, and crash report data to help improve stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your collected information strictly for:

• Providing core habit tracking, workout analytics, AI coaching summaries, and streak calculations.
• Synchronizing your data across devices securely using end-to-end encryption.
• Displaying your opt-in social profile, shared streaks, and friends leaderboards.
• Improving app performance, fixing bugs, and securing user accounts against unauthorized access.

3. Data Protection & Encryption

Plinthation utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS in transit and AES-256 / local Isar secure storage on-device). Private journal entries and sensitive credentials can be encrypted using End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) zero-knowledge vaults.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Third-party integrations are limited to essential service providers:

• Google Play Services & Firebase Analytics: Infrastructure and anonymous analytics monitoring.
• Groq AI: Processing AI Coach summaries solely for requested user responses (data is not used to train public AI models).

5. Your Data Rights & Deletion Options

You have full control over your personal data:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all sync records permanently at any time via Settings > Delete Account.
• Web Deletion Request: If you no longer have access to the app, you may request full deletion online at https://plinthation.com/delete-account.
